Sauna Lighting – LED Solutions for Saunas

Properly designed sauna lighting makes your sauna atmospheric and safe to use. LED lighting is excellently suited to saunas when using heat-resistant LED strips, luminaires and power supplies. Valotehdas solutions enable you to create stylish indirect lighting, for example under benches, behind backrests or on the sauna ceiling.

A modern sauna doesn't have to be minimalist – it can be a perfect blend of tradition and contemporary design. Indirect lighting under the benches adds depth and softness to the space. When light meets wooden surfaces, an atmosphere emerges where you'll want to linger longer.

We recommend installing LED light strips:


  • behind the backrests: creates a soft, indirect light that highlights the beautiful tones and textures of wooden surfaces.

  • under seats and benches: provides impressive lighting without a direct light source, which adds to the soothing atmosphere of the sauna.

  • for steps and bench structures: improves visibility and provides safety without dazzling light.
